Basics are the most important thing to have in your wardrobe.

A plain white shirt, and a good fitting pair of jeans are essential, wether you're a student, full-time mom, working mom, or if you work full-time, they're classic pieces everyone must have!

Might I mention a simple outfit like this is also the perfect shopping outfit.

It's no hassle to get in and out of these clothes while rushing in the fitting room, and oh so comfortable to be walking around in.

Everything about this dress screams royal.

The color is an obvious, but you also really feel like a princess wearing it.

It's the color Kate Middleton wore at her engagement reveal conference

not to mention the color of her ring.

It's also the same color LC wore to Heidis wedding.

Those are the people I think about when I think about this dress, and this color.

It's amazing that $15 dress, that fits like a glove, can make me feel this way.

Safe to say this is my favorite article of clothing in my closet, by far.

LIAR INSPIRED OOTD : LOOK FOR LESS- SPENCER HASTINGS

Layering is obviously my new favorite trend-- though it's been around forever, I am just now picking it up, and it's fabulous.

Yesterday's OOTD was a little out of my comfort zone.

I'm not one to wear button ups, and I've been struggling to figure out a way to pair the three of them I currently have in my closet. Eventually I did figure it out and as soon as I put this outfit together I thought;

"OMG, this is so Spencer Hastings!"

Now, if you don't know who I'm talking about, you clearly live under a rock.

Spencer Hastings… from ABC's Pretty Little Liars… ring a bell?!

Spencer is the one PLL member that I don't have a lot in common with, but I have to admit her style is impeccable.

Always clean, and put together.

This preppy ensamble is so her.
